Renovation of police Station in Bangalore by Aahwahan Foundation

An Aahwahan Foundation, a charitable institution working to improve public safety in Bangalore made headlines with the successful completion of its project to renovate one of the police stations in the city. The project was commissioned by a group of concerned citizens who wanted to do their bit toward making a difference in the community and making police personnel’s work easier.

The renovation spruced up facilities that were severely neglected for years. It included painting walls, repainting and installation of lighting fixtures as well as repairing furniture among other things all done ceaselessly with Aahwahan Foundation’s CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) team working round-the-clock with dedication. The result enabled improved safety and security for citizens and alleviated the pressures faced by police staff due to arduous working conditions at times.
